Experimenta! is an art festival for young people, which by integrating contemporary art and education seeks to promote critical and creative thinking in society. Experimenta! occurred for the first time in 2011 as one of the important events during Tallinn’s tenure as the European Capital of Culture.
In addition to the exhibitions, the Experimenta! programme includes the IDEE lab and a busy auxiliary programme with about a dozen events ranging from a film programme to graffiti workshops. Experimenta! is part of the EV 100 programme called “A Hundred Art Landscapes”. This time the triennial is being organised by Sally Studio and the Tallinn Art Hall.
